Works on Grey Hair But Fades Quickly

I bought six colours to try on grey hair - so far they all work, but they fade super fast. The burgundy, for example, is a rich, deep colour at first, but after two shampoos (with colour-protecting products from the same brand), it faded to light pink.
I'm happy that they work at all, since so many temporary colours don't with grey, but was disappointed that it faded so quickly. The pink fade has lasted for weeks though - it does get a bit lighter with each shampoo, as expected.
It's super easy to use, smells good, and doesn't stain skin, countertops, or shower grout.
